AFHEG Foundation is a non-profit in Uganda building a health-literate community for inclusive health, arts and health, and climate health. We empower youth with reliable knowledge on health, environment, and climate impacts through advocacy, creative storytelling, arts programs, and gamified learning.

We are building a health-literate community for inclusive health, arts and health, and climate health

By fostering health and environmental literacy with a focus on climate health, the AFHEG Foundation aims to equip young people with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health, environment, and climate change impacts, ultimately contributing to improved well-being, inclusive health, and sustainable development in Uganda and beyond.

Through our innovative programs like Smarty, arts and health initiatives such as the Young Leaders for Arts and Health Kampala Summit, and our game franchise like the Super Bugs Clash “Kampala Edition”, we aim to increase understanding of environmental, health, and climate-health issues while promoting disease prevention, sustainable living, arts-driven health awareness, and health promotion.

Our goal is to enhance healthcare quality and strengthen Uganda’s health systems for inclusive health while providing equal access to community health services and health information through the use of trained volunteers.
