AFHEG has been selected for TEF 2025. This milestone recognizes our commitment to building a health-literate community of young Africans. Through innovative tools like Superbugs Clash and the Smarty platform, AFHEG is pioneering health education that informs and inspires.
This selection reflects our continued commitment to empowering young Africans with the knowledge and tools to make informed health decisions. At AFHEG, we are focused on transforming health communication through creativity, gamified learning, and youth-led innovation.
With this support, we will strengthen our work in:
• Expanding the reach and distribution of the Superbugs Clash board game
• Scaling up Smarty, our digital learning platform on health and climate
• Growing our media production services to support health campaigns and advocacy
• Launching new training and mentorship programs for young health innovators
• Laying the groundwork for the future AFHEG Health Grid Village, a hub for community-centered health innovation and learning
We are grateful to the Tony Elumelu Foundation for investing in African-founded and African-led solutions. This opportunity will allow us to grow our impact and create more jobs, especially for youth and creatives passionate about health and social change.
At AFHEG, we believe in a future where every young person can access quality health information and become a leader in their community. This recognition takes us one step closer to that future.
Join us on this journey to build a health-literate Africa.
